In general, it is normal that recognition jobs take a moment or two, from a few minutes even up to a day if the server load is higher.
This depends on the extent of processed material. For example, one single text recognition job can run in a matter of seconds, while 100 pages will take much longer.
The processing time further depends on where and in what processing queue the jobs are being processed.
You can look up if your job is still in the queue or processing under "Transkribus Server Log" in "Settings" in the lower left corner of your home screen.
Everything from uploading, over recognition, to training and exporting is a type of job that will be logged and visible in the "Jobs" queue.
Training jobs can take from a couple of hours to 24 hours, or even up to a week, depending on the kind of training and other settings, like the number of training runs the model goes through.
