How do I use the ScanTent?

How to use the ScanTent:

Set up the ScanTent according to our assembly instructions: How to assemble the ScanTent.
Download the DocScan mobile app or any other scanning app comaptible with your smartphone.
Select and put your material in the middle of the ScanTent.
Position your phone on the smartphone mount on top of the ScanTent.
Important: your smartphone's display needs to be aligned with the reading direction of the document. To ensure high-quality scans, make sure that you can easily read the messages displayed on the DocScan app while standing in front of the ScanTent
Tap the play button to capture an image.
After scanning, manually crop or rotate your images if necessary.
Either download your finished scans to your device to later upload them to the Transkribus app for recognition, or
Directly upload them to Transkribus from the DocScan mobile app.
